@George Halstead - can appreciate your position, but please keep in mind that we're a pirate site. We share games, we mod games, we do authorized and unauthorized remakes of games.

So let's please move off this topic, OK? Thanks
What? We're a pirate site? WHY DIDN'T ANYBODY TELL ME??????

@selectivepaperclip thanks for this! I downloaded the original, but never got around to playing it because of RPGM. Now that excuse is gone!

This game is a reference for a good NTR concept not used much. The Pool...the bedroom... etc... But it was always a good build up to something bigger than the story. She forgets... :) but truly loves her man... oh wait the sister... or a force from another woman. This one is one of my Top 5 Your a the good guy, player (the sister) or ... freelance... the hot blonde ... hehehe you decide...

Question - I've been interested to play this for a while, but anyone who's seen me posting knows I don't like unnecessary gameplay elements. For this reason, I generally do not play RPGM games as I don't feel like walking around and finding shit.

Naturally, when I saw this had a Ren'Py remake I was excited but noticed a couple of comments pointing out that you still have to do all the "walking around" that is generally required from RPGM games. Previous RPGM - Ren'Py conversions did not include any of that and skipped straight to cutscenes.

Is it true that we still have to wander around? How does that even work and what's the point of a Ren'Py remake if it is indeed true (other than the interface)? Seems like a lot of work for an otherwise unsubstantial change, which is why I'm skeptical. Thanks in advance.

You still have to navigate to points on the game map, but it's presented as clickable areas the MC navigates to instantly instead of requiring you to navigate the character around with the arrow keys and wait for them to get from point A to point B.

For example, this is what one of the map screens looks like:
mga-bigmap.jpg

I still think this is an improvement over RPGM because you get some of the RenPy features like being able to speed through text and save anywhere. Additionally, available hotspots are always highlighted on the map so you don't need to go booping your RPGM man around on all the shelves and dressers etc to see what's important (less important for this game than for others).

I recognize this isn't the ideal interface, but replacing the map parts with something else to join scenes together would be a lot more manual work.

I don't know if it's possible to enable the photo gallery in the game, if it's not, it ain't a big deal anyway

Actually, I have no problem with that whatsoever. I was more concerned with having to walk, spend time, search for things, etc. Clicking a map to navigate somewhere isn't uncommon for these games and I can live with that. Thanks for the info, will def. be playing.

Oh, and thanks for the remake.

Is there a reason that the "scrollback" feature, or back button aren't available or working in this game? It's one of the advantages that Renpy has over RPGM, imo

Played through both routes in the walkthrough. Worked without any major issues, only minor thing was a couple saves at the hypnotist party not working when I tried to load them.

It's deliberately disabled because it doesn't play nice with all the craziness I'm doing in Python that makes this port work. I could try bringing it back now that I've fixed some of the problems that were causing it to break, but I wasn't sure how many people actually use it.

Does "not working" mean they rolled back too far, or they crashed completely?

If you've got an example of a situation where this happens reliably I'd love to track it down.

They were loading outside the house and freezing up. Just tried to reproduce it and I can't so I dunno. It happened twice before so kinda surprised I can't reproduce the crash.

is this VN or RPG ,

:FeelsGoodMan: i will wait for some update or ~offical~ game ...
The official game was finished in March this year. The game is a mixture of both VN and RPG, incidentally the new DLC for the game will be and has been confirmed as Ren'py as the Dev used it for his latest game and prefers it.
