Which popular games on this site do you not like?

For me, I don't like Dreaming of Dana or My New Life. Dreaming of Dana is way too grindy for me. My New Life is hard to understand. The English is pretty bad.

I know that a lot of the people have a love/hate relationship with Big Brother, and it's even popular for it, but still, i can't find a single reason to "love" it.

So, there are 3 games that hurt my soul to see so many people praising. Don't get me wrong, they're popular, I know that everyone has played them in some capacity, but they are all deeply flawed, and yet they all have massive loyal followings. Each of them could be salvaged with some clever writing, especially the last one, but as they stand they are, to me, games I can't really stand anymore.

Big Brother - Big Brother is a mess. Setting aside all the fan hatred for reasons like NTR, because I don't think that's a valid criticism, you don't like the content that's fine, but that doesn't mean the game is bad, it just means it's not for you. No, the problem with BB is the poor game design, the violently mediocre art, and the failed storytelling. Dark Silver set up something mildly interesting, but even from the beginning, I get a big red flag. Exposition dumps tell us all about the family, rather than introducing us to the characters and allowing us to learn who they are through experience, he just vomits it all onto our laps. Then we begin our first couple days and quickly learn that we won't be advancing the plot through story, no, all the content is going to be gated behind money. Then we get Eric. Now, I actually like the premise of Eric. He's an antagonist. If used properly, Eric could have been Max's foil, allowing the girls to be proactive and accepting. Instead, Eric was one of those bosses you run into at the start of a level and can't even damage, but that it keeps making you chase and fight until the end anyway, and the girls are minibosses who you have to constantly get past gates to move forward with. From there you have inconsistencies, like Olivia is a totally different person if you date her and your sister than the person she is if you date your sister and meet her later. Your mother has severe Multiple Personality Disorder. And both Alice and Lisa essentially reset their "affection" for you after each gate, making it as though you've made no progress. And last, I mentioned the art. To put it in perspective, it would take 5 or 6 of his scenes that you had to work your ass off to get and aren't even posed to give you optimal angles of viewing, to equal the opening scene of my game that you don't work for at all, just in renders.

Man of the House - Man of the House suffers from some of the same problems as BB, only without the Eric, and with slightly worse writing. If I'm honest, I like MotH more, but only because it had less potential than BB to fuck up. As a result of the fact that there is very little writing, the plot is advanced by grind. But that grind makes the game creepy to me. In short, if you have to wear a girl down, you don't have consent. And you have to wear all the girls down, not to mention getting your mom drunk to even get things rolling, blackmailing your older sister, and then impersonating a medical professional to convince your mom that incest is totally natural. Of course, both the little sister and the mother's content are played off as if they were a little taboo, but otherwise "romantic" and "consensual". The older sister, to start with, the blackmail that gets things started is so fucking weak, and it continues to be weak when you double down with her boss. You would need something much worse on her, or, for her to already know she likes being dominated. And that is the next problem, a switch flips and she goes from the mean bitch to your slave in no time, something like that, even with a willing sub in real life, takes time.

Dating My Daughter - This one, like BB has a lot of potential that it completely fucks. First off, I was just going through some of the art the other day, and I think Dots is genius in his use of expression. It makes D so much easier to love. But that's where my praise has to end. D is incredibly inconsistent. Sometimes she screens as being 13-15, but its a lot more common that she screens as 9-10. See, I personally don't have a problem with jailbait, if that's what the story is, lets go. What I do have a problem with is when the author is so dedicated on making her "innocent" and "young" that he makes her fucking retarded as well. To add insult to injury, D is, throughout almost the entire Ch.1 game, completely passive. She is constantly reacting. She makes no decisions on her own until the Cupid Night event. This makes what is written as if it's a budding romance into more of a corruption feel. Yet the entire time he refuses to commit to that corruption feel. Dad is supposedly a gentleman, or at least, he honestly thinks he is. And that brings us to the largest problem overall, pacing. This game makes most stairway to heaven scenarios look like express elevators. You don't even get a blowjob until the entire first game has finished, and then we are several releases into the sequel.

Girl Life - Mainly because it's from the female perspective and I just don't like games from that view personally. However code wise and documentation. It's freaking fantastic, use some of their stuff for other QSP games. Just wish I could focus long enough to code QSPs like that personally.

SuperPowered - Is pretty damn grindy and I don't like the renders for them very much. I mean they're ok but would like them to look a bit older.

The Twist - Story wise this game is cringe worthy, read some of it on my play through and I don't know how it doesn't have a tag for shota or something. I mean thinking your mom will produce milk by dressing her up as a cow? I mean shit any teen with some common sense would know it doesn't work that way.

Man of the House - I played a bit of it but it just seemed like a Lesson of Passion knock off really. Sort of the same concept and game play. It never really caught my attention for more than an hour.

Other ones, I tend to like real porn usually. So a lot of the 2d and 3d games I just don't feel a huge attraction too but some are good.

I do think I do not have the position to criticize as I've only played 3 of the popular games in these forums: Milfy City, Dreams of Desire and Summertime Saga. Albeit I refrained from playing two of the popular games:

Big Brother - the mother is an abomination. She doesn't look like a mother of three young adults in their respective sexual prime. Slapping a woman with a 25 year old physique and categorizing her as a MILF is unacceptable.

Dating my Daughter - the daughter looks like she belongs to a kid's show, Bratz.

I'm going to have to go with Man of the House and Big Brother here.

MotH just seemed too grindey, which killed the buzz for me. So that's a 'maybe download occasionally for the CG' title for me.

As for Big Brother, yeah the story puts me completely off. Mainly because of Eric admittedly, but there were other story elements that didn't quite click with me either. I like the characters, and love the CG, but the story just isn't doing it for me. It started off well enough (the mother tub scene was intriguing), but the grind, something... Yeah, stopped following the story a while ago, probably because of the grind factor and story elements.

I do check out the Big Brother Fan Art thread every so often, and have even done an Anne on the beach animation, because her model is very attractive to me!

Dreaming of Dana is another one that, despite having a lot of what I like in the CG, yeah the grind... I'm impatient that way - life is too short.

Some of the other popular games, well for various reasons I haven't played a number of them. Mainly, if the characters featured aren't attracting me (beautiful as they may be), yeah I usually don't bother. There has to be a lady character that I particularly like.

As for DMD, c'mon, 18 episodes and STILL no vaginal with the main love interest?!? But I still follow that game like a puppy dog, I just haven't bothered playing it (yet again) for an episode or two (just checking out the CG).

Good Girl Gone Bad rubbed me the wrong way from the beginning. I didn't get very far into the story, but I didn't see a single likeable character. When you play to avoid npc's and sex, then it's time to delete the game.

Anna Exciting Affection has begun to annoy me (does that count?). Plot is gone, and it's now a series of scenes where you get the choice for lewds or not. The scenes are well done, but other than that the game is heading for retard in lechertown.

My Cute Roommate just has the wrong name. Should be called Resident Rapist or something.

I don't 100% disagree with that assesment, especially if you only got a short way into the game. The only character that I outright like in the game is Dave, her best friends boyfriend. Nor are you not entitled to still have this opinion. However...

Curious, I eventually decided to see what I'd get myself into if I engaged with some of the characters who, on their faces, looked to be complete shitbags. Both the big hunk, reality star with the Jersey Shore look, and the blonde bimbo who at first are among the worst of the characters, actually turn out to be real genuine and empathetic characters. It's obvious from the story they've been burned in the past and that that's caused them to put of a harder shell, but they aren't altogether bad characters or bad people. Your father, while definitely shitty, really just needed some positive encouragement in his life. My initial play, I was rude to him as well, as I felt he was being lazy and unproductive, but with positive reinforcement he actually goes out and makes something more of himself. Your mom is a bitch though, no denying that, and there are plenty of unlikable characters, your best friend goes through a bad phase, and if you're like me, and after her BF, you're probably gonna make things worse there, granted, she totally cheats on him first, so it's not like you're a total shit bag. I still haven't decided how I feel about Eric's sister, but his dad is a piece of shit. And then there's the "kanye west" character, and he seems fine, but I've been given the impression there's a dark side there that you want to avoid.

There are a lot of those, but just off the top of my head:
1.Superpowered- Grindy and with an interface that seems created with the sole purpose of wasting your time.
2.My Girlfriend's Amnesia- this is what happens when you use an engine you're comfortable with instead of one that's right for the job. A huge part of the game is a walking simulator and I just hate games that waste my time with so little respect.
3.A Spell for All- Interface issues again. If you need more than 3 klicks to get from point A to point B you're doing something wrong.
4.Star Channel 34- while I generally find Akabur's games fairly amusing(if grindy as hell) this one is just meh.
No offence meant to the creators if they happen to read this, just my personal(and professional) oppinion.

Dating My Daughter - I don't like the renders, and the plot is nonsensical/really creepy. Also just end up using a guide instead of actually playing the game.

Superpowered - I like the concept, and they put a ton of effort into making the game unqiue with all the variables and actions you can do. But the MC looks like a heroin addict.

Dreams of Desire - Couldn't get into it. But then again I don't like reading a ton in my lewd games so this one just doesn't line up with my tastes.

And in general, any game that uses DAZ3D assets is an instant turn-off for me. Can get past it with some like MILFY City, but the million 0.1 DAZ3D games plaguing this site make me never download any of them.

Of the games I have played from the Popular list, I haven't found one that was actually any good. Truth be told though, I haven't tried them all. But the reality is that they are popular only because they came on the scene before the explosion of new porn games we have seen in the past year.

The only popular game I hated out right was Good Girl Gone Bad. The others I have tried are just so...meh. Some of the new writers that have come on the scene recently are heads and shoulders above the developers of the popular games.

The games don't have to be on the popular list. I consider a game popular depending on how many views it gets. I also didn't like Big Brother or Good Girls Gone Bad.

Milfy City is on it. It's not perfect by any means, but for a life sim, it's one of the better ones available. At least it took time to think out character motivations.
