One of the times you are at the slam she will approach you about a plan to get away from Savage. After that it's just a matter of waiting and continually checking back at the slam until the event with Savage triggers. After that, she will be in one of your cells.

I like this game, but I wish the updates focused on finishing off what was there rather than add new people that all remain in various stages of completeness.

Audrey is a great example of that. You can barely do anything with her beyond some conversations. I'd love to have the original roster completely fleshed out, with all options in the slam, bordello, and at the labs. There's so much stuff that is just "nothing here yet" or "not available yet" with even the 3 starter heroine's (batgirl, huntress, canary) that it's a bit frustrating to figure out just who has what enabled.

I think he's getting too wrapped up in "feature creep" since it's new and exciting stuff. What S7 really needs to do is lock down a core game, with a core set of characters, finish them off, then work on expanding out from there. Every character added should be "complete", or at least completed within 2-3 updates, before moving onto another one (that doesn't mean they can't adjust/expand content, just that they won't have massive gaps in what you can do with them).
I think the best way to enjoy the game is to forget it until next year or so.
That's probably what I'll do, as playing every update is way too frustrating.

The problem with this sprawling framework is that it creates the expectation of massive amounts of additional work just to finish off everything. Reducing the scope of the game would help with that.

The biggest example of that is the 'private room' and 'exhibition' section of the bordello. Those are completely unnecessary, because they're already covered elsewhere, either in the cells or at the Glamour Slam. There's only so many ways you can draw or animate sexual acts, and multiplying that times 6 jobs times 12 heroes is going to result in tedium and repetitive work.

If he wanted to retain the existing bordello framework, he could change the second two categories to 'date' and 'orgy.' Date would be a completely non-sexual night out with a hero, so only one image would need to be created for each hero. Believe it or not, this is kinky and sexy in it's own way. It would need to be the final category, since the mental control would be the most complex. The orgy category would also be just one single image, and he could limit the orgies to specific groupings, so he only has to make 4 images total. Additional groupings would be 'maybes' for later.

The outfit categories need to be drastically reduced. 2 non-nudes is good enough for nearly everyone. This is because they need to be redone for every alternate scene. All of Chesire's and Artemis's outfits need to be redraw for the fingering scene, that's too much work, especially if there's a different pose required due to a skirt or whatever. Don't get me wrong, I love all that detail, but it should only be done if he feels like it.

Everyone wants penetration in the cells, but I think it would be better to limit things to where they are now, and only include actual sex when its a good concept. As I mentioned, the real 'goal' of every cell capture should be to attain some specific information, resource, or material from each girl. For example, for Audrey, the goal would obviously be to attain some political favor from Savage. The goal from Lois would be to get a fresh sample of Clark's DNA. The goal from Starfire and Blackfire would be attaining some ability like radiation absorption , etc. I'm not sure exactly what form 'upgrade 3' is supposed to take, whether it's sexual, behavioral, emotional, or something else, but it doesn't have to be tied to the goal of the character. In line with the nature of the story, which seems to be placing cocky women into a state of sexual submission, I think a variety of effects would be better than the consistency of "upgrade 2"

I think Lex should actually 'win' and conquer the Justice League and the world, since these women are obviously getting slowly convinced that he's their master. This requires a bold narrative, but it's not hard to begin to piece it together, you just need a specific goal for each 'cell' occupant.

I think threat 'works' as it is now, since it creates a false sense of tension, but once the game has been underway for a while, it can develop a real meaning. If he removed the ability to preemptively remove threat by hiring a villain, then threat growth would have meaning again, because you would know that something 'bad' will happen once threat hits the cap. But as long as you had a powerful villain(s) on the payroll when this happens, you'll (usually) be able to use them to distract the (male) hero and threat will be reduced, in whole or part. But hitting this threat cap will also carry opportunities, like events or captures that can only take place at maximum or high threat. Lois and Wonder Woman could be a high-threat capture only. Henchwomen could then be given bonuses that affect the types of events that happen when threat hits maximum. (and other types of bonuses) For example, Galatea could slow down threat growth to a trickle when it's near the cap because no one is dumb enough to fight her without a plan. There's a lot you can do with this, such as having better heist options when threat is low.

I could keep going about these things, but I honestly don't think the game has any big problems. The quality of the art and writing is far better than I was expecting. Looking forward to whatever is next.

I mostly agree.

I don't think he needs to cut down the game. But he needs to sit down and finish what he's got now.

I'd like to see a tick tock dev cycle where he "ticks" bug fixes, QOL improvements, and similar refinements, then "tocks" updates to existing characters to flesh them out (or vice versa).

At this point, even putting the game down for a year and coming back... I'd fully expect there to be a bunch of new content/refinements/bug fixes along with a handful of updates to existing characters... and still leaving the majority of the existing roster simply untouched.

I agreed he has to complete what he has done so far , instead of adding more characters, like livewire, he did her scenes up to a point then stopped.
A lot of people are annoyed that he has not done enough batgirl or mercy scenes as they were the first characters in the game.
The artwork is very good & the plot lines are clever but, I think he is overstretching himself.
I think he is trying to do this epic game but, it is too much for one person to do & I've been watching this guy from the beginning.

When I click on stables in meta-bordella I only see the background image and no menus, I can't back out of the room either. Is there a fix or work-around?

No at this point he's just aimlessly wandering. His patrons are loyal so he has nothing to really worry about. I imagine the game needs very little coding for the content he is adding, since its nothing he hasn't already done in game.

Personally I would like to see him finish the actual game part, The scenes with the existing girls then add girl content afterwards as sort of patches to the main game. If he did that he could keep making this game as long as there are characters in the DCU. Like most devs, he lacks discipline and focus. He is very talented for sure.

If it isn't too much trouble could you re-name the .app file? For mac fags 'SU_2.0.8mac.app' is an invalid name. If you delete the periods from the version name the game will run. So, 'SU_208mac.app' will run 'SU_2.0.8mac.app' gives a system message of 'SU_2.0.8mac.app will not run'

(or please put this message as a note in the front page near the downloads so 'pleb' macfags can get their faps on without losing their minds thinking the mac file is corrupted or some garbage.)

I also agree that just adding more heroines means nothing is progressing. Don't get me wrong, I love the characters recently added (Raven's one of my favorites) but at this point, I want to do something. Right now it's just "Capture latest girl, view two CG's, unlock a costume or two, Nothing More Yet."

Each update lately feels like once you figure out how to unlock the new stuff, it takes all of five minutes to do everything in the patch.

Exactly how I feel about it. I'm not sure I would support someone who at worst is making 47k a year (assuming he only makes half the listed amount due to expenses or something) when he doesnt want to focus for fear of buring out. Sorry but they (if there is) are bringing in a sum total of almost 100k annually means he can do this shit full time. in one month, dude made how many pictures? I understand he has quality but no, just no. And the coding hasn't changed only minor bugfixes.

This game is good, but I could only imagine what the game would be like if he actually dedicated 140 hours a month to it. (thats only 35 hours a week, technically the high end of part time)

I get the feeling people will just get tired of getting strung along, and drop patreon support, I kind of agree with Most critics about patreon and games development, it doesn't encourage them to finish a game but instead drag it out as long as possible. and this constant baiting without finishing even one character, regardless of whom it is, is frustrating to say the least because it's an obvious stall tactic for a stall tactic, I don't think you'll see a finish character till either A. Runs out of characters to add which likely won't happen. or B. an angry fanbase starts prepping to lynch.

That's why I stopped supporting them. I support creators in hopes of getting a full game eventually. But SU is going on for almost 2 years now. All those additional heroines shouldn't be their focus, it should be added after the game is actually completed as bonus or a stretch goal.

I agreed now with you & others, I was talking to someone who supporting him now & they are pissed off about as another guy said on here , he is just wandering about & not finishing anything.
The guy who still supports him at the moment, is going to stop doing it because he keeps coming up with different stories when pressed about the time frame for finishing one character, in this case Mercy.
I would never back this guy after talking to the guy who supported him, he thinks he is just ripping people off.

I honestly don't feel like it's stall tactics, because he could have a "full" game and still stretch out updates for nearly a decade. There's TONS of DC women out there he can toss in. New scenes, alternate scenes, new features with their own new scenes, etc.

With just a couple minutes of thought he could brainstorm a new addition to any of the areas of the game that would create new content for most, or all, of the existing characters.

So I doubt that stretching the updates out is the issue.

I think it's a simpler answer. Making a game is hard for lots of reasons... and one of those reasons is that you need to stick with things even when they are tough or boring.
For an artist, which is more appealing... making a few pieces of art for several characters... or sitting there with a couple at a time and drawing scene after scene with them, including variations, over and over again?

It's not "exciting" to do that, and it's easy to get burnt out. That's just one of the reasons why it takes a lot of discipline to make a game from start to finish.

The interesting part is that since this game first released it finally reached actual sex scene with lex a couple updates back. That was with Livewire. After almost 2 yrs and you just now getting an actual Sex scene that isn't a heroine but a villian is pretty sad.

The "Sex Scenes" in Bordello are not legit b/c it's not Lex getting it but random ppl. That's what is annoying He does such little updates, spans out outfits like insanely. Should only do like 3 outfits total and not even maybe just 2 considering his roster needed for both places is quite large to keep it running like how it should.

Then to top it off he has only made very small minor increments in each update and with only minor things. The guy is definitely stalling. Or he is just taking too much of his time trying to create so many damn outfits.

I think outfits should come later and get the core part of the game finished, then work on adding new outfits and such. Right now the actual core of the game is missing.

It's still very basic compared to all the placeholders for all the things that is supposed to be in the game.

I'll explain what I did to unlock the contents of Cheshire and Artemis.

Cheshire

1) Access the defenses, click on villains, then on Henchwomen and select Cheshire.

2) Move forward one day.

3) Access the office and you're done. The scene with the new gray suit will appear.

4) Move on another day.

5) Go to the cells, visit Cheshire, and click on Strip with her wearing gray clothing. Enjoy.

6) Go forward another day.

7) Return the cell, visit Cheshire again, and put the original ninja costume with the mask.

8) Go forward another day.

9) Go to the cells, visit Cheshire, and click Strip with her wearing the original ninja costume with the mask. Enjoy again. XD

10) Go another day.

Artemis

1) Go to the scene of Artemis (with her already wearing the original green clothes), and change to the school clothes. Then click dance.

2) Go forward another day.

3) Retrieve the cell, click on Artemis, and the name "Cheshire" will appear as a clickable button.

4) Enjoy, enjoy yourself. XD

I hope I have helped!
