You would be surprised. Many japanese artists cant draw a vagina for shit and they often put little to no effort into drawing it cause its gonna be censored anyway. Many works that got censorship removed has hideous looking dicks and pussies, either due to artist being shit at drawing it or they didn’t draw it at all and the producers had to draw new ones on the picture.

They censor the mosaic, penises and pussy, but all the rest is top notch, when the action is going that censor isn't an issue, or when the penis is in the mouth etc.. If you want to know a more detailed explanation then no, I find the faceless expressions as youcall it and voice acting far superior than even real life series. Especially the voice acting. Also I don't think it's faceless, they have different faces for whatever emotion, similar to how games does it. Like swtor - star wars the old republic.. Even then it still beats whatever you are trying to defend. Again this is just my opinion, and you are entitled to your own.
