These files are Web Pages, you can only open it with Google Chrome. You can convert them in .png with WebPConv, first you have to "encode" and then you can "decode" the result of the encoding. You can do it with the whole characters floder.

If anyone is having the problem with Ren'py like I used to have, you might have Nahimic turned on. Just shut it down and it won't make any more problems with any Ren'py game.

MC is kind of lanky and thin its kinda hard to see him beating someone beefy like Dexter in a straight up fight. I think its more likely MC will school him in the Basketball Court maybe

... that's indeed pretty likely.
In general the game is rather light-hearted and I doubt DC wants to change that by introducing really demeaning scenes.

This comment really annoys me because the last update was released last month, so this is a straight up lie that there not been an update in last 2 months. People just want to complain for the hell off it, and only reason the last update took so long was because patreon changed there rules, and DarkCookie had to convert game over to match there rules which further added time before a new release came out.
edit* so was actually April 18th when 16.2 came out, so guess it has been 2 months, still quit your whining , I rather have a big massive update , than just a small update each month that barely has any content. however, do apologise for straight up calling you a liar.
reason why its going faster is because the game is now setup to match patreon rules, so they are updating game only, unlike last month, when they was updating game and changing current content to match patreon rules.
Also good to finally see someone given DC credit , quite frankly what DC and the team did on summertime saga with last update, and getting it out when they did, was amazing , most here have no idea how hard it is to do what they did last month.

We already saw in the game that almost noobie MC did some damage to Dexter, when MC gets more experienced he will be far stronger than him for sure.
But i think the Martial arts will be used against the bad guys and not vs a random bully like Dexter, he will be defeated in basketball.

It's a game anyway. I think DC said once that MC resembles to a degree protagonists in those old Kung Fu/martial arts Comics/Manga. I'm not sure which (

) but I'd guess it wouldn't really matter in this case. It's not like the game is supposed to be ultra realistic, given that we've got a magic telescope, Aqua, unlimited milk, etc.

So it seems like its going to be around 3 months for this update, I hope its worth it. Its strange how he seems to be making less progress then he used to even though hes making more then double. Its used to be monthly updates almost on the dot with lots of content. Now its 3 months for around 7 scenes? I mean even that last update was super lackluster for how long it took. Its whatever though, i'm a pirate, my opinion doesn't really matter.
