You can softlock this game by doing the cowgirl photoshoot with Emily before reading the photography book. This puts the game in a state where you can't progress. Here's how to fix it:
- Enable the developer console. (Get UnRen, execute UnRen.bat in the same directory as the game binary/exe file, choose option 3.)
- Open the console while in game. (Shift+O.)
- In the console, type:
st_cosclothes[0].instore = True
This readds the cowgirl outfit to the store. The Escape key closes the console. - Purchase the cowgirl outfit, go to Emily's apartment at 17:00, and re-perform the cowgirl photoshoot. (Select either the camera or the outfit while in her apartment.) Choose "Let's pretend a little."
- You can now continue the game like intended. Provided that your relationship with the cousin is good enough and that you've progressed far enough into her storyline, here's what you do next:
- Buy the ninja and Harley Quinn outfits at the store. Perform those two photoshoots with Emily.
- Go watch TV with your roommate/cousin in the living room at 21:00. She'll ask you to perform a photoshoot. Accept ("Yes, sure!").
- During the photoshoot, when your cousin asks you if you want her to take photos of you, decline. ("I don't need this")
- Don't suggest to remove her dress. Instead, choose "I want to fix your hair". Click the dress knot on her back and then click on her hair (the order is important). Her dress will fall off during the photoshoot.
- The next time you walk into her room at 22:00 she will suggest to do a photoshoot in her underwear. Tell her you want her to be your girlfriend. After this photoshoot your relationship status will finally reach 2 hearts.
