To anyone who has lost their progress and can't be bothered grinding money again... (like me)
If you go to your game folder, open the renpy folder, find a file called '00console.rpy' open it with notepadd++
Ctrl+F and find the line 'config.console=False' and change it to 'config.console=True' and save the file.
Now in game you can open developer console by pressing Shift+o and type in 'player.inventory.money=5000' or whatever value you like as long as it is less than 99999. Should speed up your progress if you're as annoyed by restarting 3 times in the last 24 hours as i am.

Not complaining, but they should have released a test version to clear all the major bugs before officially releasing it. Bugs are very common indeed, and like dogeek said they rather have 10000 finding the bugs than 4 or 5 people.

Maybe try deleting all installed versions + appdata/renpy/sumertimesaga/ files, and re-installing the 15.2 game? Make sure you are not using the incest patch as it also breaks the game. I removed everything and started fresh and so far it's working as intended.
