open the game, get error, read lots of posts about the error, edit some code, find some patches, confuse, ask people.....
Why the dev. doing this on every release?
(Please can somebody easliy explain what to do. I downloaded Dating My Daughter v0.16 (…Patched #2.7z and have a save from previous release but get error.)

i managed to complete the game without any other errors except transfer of save games to ch.2,i just manually filled stats and played the game without problems from the begining of ch.2
i will wait for official fix,luckily for mrdots it's only two updates into new chapter so i hope he will manage to fix it soon
as for the update it is usual stuff,settling in new country and spending time with D,this time it had lot more text than action but dads dream sequence and spa date were fantastic so i can get over it
i like that D decided to take another step and take the matter in her boo...hands,i'm looking forward to her being more aware and decisive in future,i like that she is so romantic but i'd like to see her start teasing dad a little bit before adult stuff
looking forward to that special christmas scene mentioned,and also what gaitan said,the storm in next updates,i bet minds will be blown

ok guys for those of you who don't mind using someone else's chapter 1 save and are getting errors please try the following:
1. download the save provided
2. go into your chapter 2 v0.16 directory and delete or rename the saves folder and do the same for your chapter 1 saves folder and for C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\DMD-2469236204
3. goto C:\Users\*USERNAME*\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\DMD-1469236204 and delete the files and extract my save to that location
4. launch the game and click 'continue from ch.1'
that is what i did when i first launched this after i did the prepatched version so i really hope this helps you guys.

Is This is patch that putts incest back in? And is it also part,15? sorry sound dume just making sure. and if need to restart is it only from chapter,2 begining??

it does a few things but essentially yes she will be referred to as your daughter and yes start chapter 2 from the beginning

i started ch.2 from the beginning and haven't found any other errors,if the game won't transfer your save from ch.1 like in my case just fill manually stats you had and it should work fine as in my case

yeah i've been modding the script all day to get it setup right and the only errors i got was when i messed something up other than that its ran perfect
