1 Did u tried to start a New game and not "continue"? Cause the game usually comes with a save with all done from previous version. The game is not bugged, as far i can tell. EDITED Also consider what @RWaites says below this post, if u cheat the character relations u will probably get stuck at some point (this game has multiple milestones and triggers tied up with "love" and "lust"). END EDITION
2 U can save the game via ur smart phone. The 2 arrows there, one is for save and the other for load ur game.

1/ Only use the cheat menu on the phone to add cash or max and lock MC's stat's (Do Not use it for mom or the girl's as you may miss something's)
2/ On your phone the bottom line next to the P is the save (Down Arrow), then the load (Up Arrow), then the settings

I really, REALLY wanted to do this, but I was afraid that there wasn't a fool-proof mechanism or something that prevented idiots like me from actually trying it. It was like:
1st ... What?!
2nd ... Ok?
3rd ... Yeah ...
4th uncontrollable laughter
This shit was great and I realized once more that it's easy to entertain me x'D

If you are starting a new game maybe delete the save game that was included, plenty of brother's here will be happy to share their's if you change your mind later.
Sometime's it's useful to cheat MC's stat's (Shady looking man in the hat on your phone).

Sorry if this has been asked before, but is 1280X720 the only windowed resolution available? If not, why am I not seeing any others?

try Restartig ur Computer, Or ur game, Sometimes when i start playing it behaves funny like u said It is all gone when u start over again ,
the Extra version of faerin includes a cheat menu in side the smartphone.
the Spy or Burglar icon there u can change stats
but if u never played I ll recomend u play it with @Carlo S walktrough and only cheat the money
Is not a grinding stat game and the minigames are quite entertainig also the pizza delivery is a good thing
how worked the Mod (Incest patch) ?? no questions about it ?

I suggest that u unmark the windowed mode when Unity engine starts then u can set resolution to 1600 x 900
start the game on full screen and on ur smartphone (the one in the corner ) hit the icon with the rotary wheel there u can change to fullscreen or to an other language is the prefs menu

Same here. It's my only resolution available for 'windowed mode' but I usually play fullscreen.
That could depend on the system specs.
