That was fast. I was going to say you're already light years ahead of some players, since you figured out how to equip stuff!

You should play The Artifact (it has 3 parts) by the same dev.

The only thing I couldn't figure out was where to get a shield. The weapon shop didn't sell one and I couldn't any other place that offered one.
But with enough bandages and first aid kits it was not a serious problem.
However, a hint where to find a shield still would be nice.

I think the best shield is a cardigan or other similar clothing. If I remember correctly, it's on the neighbor's clothesline, in his back garden.

You probably meant the letterman jacket in the neighbor's house. I got it but it isn't a shield type equipment, at least not in this game.

Ok ...just downloaded this....played loads of games before.renpy etc and rpg....but stuck in first fight after camera nicked....found rusty blade but dont seem to be able to equip myself with it...consequently keep getting beaten up...
.....is this game bugged...playing windows 10 on keyboard only ...on microsoft surface pro....normally clicking on an item uses it or equips you....any ideas much appreciated...

I had the same issue. Finally just gave up and moved on to The Artifact.

same issues brother...i run MX linux and had the exact same problems as you did i even tried with play on linux
didnt make any difference sucks to be us LOL seen your post just after i put mine up LOL
