You mean the eyebrows?

Well these are fibermesh brows (Super Natural Brows), the clumps are a result from combining some of its morphs.

As you already noticed, if the poses say "Michael 7 and Victoria 7", then they only fit exactly these characters. However practically zero characters have these proportions, so you're going to have to make manual adjustments.

Use the Node Selection Tool, click on the bodypart you want to change, then use the bone rotations to make them fit.
So that answer is just spending hours on adjustments. Was wondering if that was just what you had to do or if there was an easier way.

One "cheat" I found is if it becomes too much work for one part adjust the camera angle so you don't see it. haha

Thanks.

I noticed something weird a while ago when rendering. I was working on a new render with a lot of stuff going and while rendering different test scenes I noticed that sometimes memory consumption went up to 50gb (texture + geometry) which is obviously way too much for my card/s but it still rendered on gpu till the end. On the other hand, sometimes I have a memory consumption of just 5gb (I have 14) and DAZ wont render on the gpu and jumps to cpu...
Does anybody know why this happens?

just got Daz 3D today and are most learning where to find everything
its a pain in the ass right now as it is soo much to dig into.
this is the first test
it took about 3min and 20sec to renderer.

i can see right now that a fast CPU is a must here
the GPU doesnt seem to do anything. r.png

When using iray render you need a nvidia card to use gpu acceleration. Iray renders way faster on gpu

You probably have an RTX series GPU, for that you need the DAZ 4.11 beta. It is free, but you need to get it in the store nevertheless.

yes i have a Nvidia but slow as hell.its a 1050ti lol
still GPU usage only goes up to 30% so it doesnt seem to use all power from the GPUs?
CPU usage is allways at 100%
this is with an old i7 2600K at 4.6Ghz (water cooled)

im amazed with the amount of custimizations you can do with this program.
last 3D program i used was 3d studo R4 and that was 15 years ago :)

Unfortunately, not that good. I had to fix something on PS because (and I can blame only myself for not.. "daring" too much with the lights and such) at the end of the process for just the char, fireflies started to pop-up out of nowhere like there's was no tomorrow. Guess that next time I'll be more careful and try to use as many lights as possible (in fact you can notice the hair firstly, little blurred. And then the rest)

Oh yeah, the model is slightly inspired by the Sword Maiden of Goblin Slayer.

If the CPU usage is 100% it's a bad signal, you're probably rendering with it. I have an old i5 and, although with DAZ it can reach a high percentage, it's never 100% constant... it's the GPU that always has to be above 90%, so know that it's in charge of rendering.

You are using only a figure and a background as far as I can tell, right? Try to add some more stuff to the scene and you will see more gpu usage.
Well if gpu usage is actually on. You can Check that in the render settings und the advanced tab.

And btw you should have look at the asset Release Forums ;)

@recreation has made me realize one thing...

Probably in the parameters that comments you have activated both the use of CPU and GPU, disable the CPU, there is virtually no difference in rendering times, and is counterproductive, saturates your computer and almost does not allow you to do other tasks while you are rendering (also active Optix if you do not have it activated).

Not assuming anything here, you have to go into render settings and tell it to use the GPU to render. I have a 760GTX and it's fairly decent, but I have to be careful about how taxing I make my scenes. From the first render to the second, there is a big difference in that the second image is largely the model, who is less well lit. Well lit scenes render much faster than darker scenes. You will definitely see that if you try to do an evening or night scene with limited lighting. This is a good demonstration of the type of a dimly lit scene that will take considerably longer to render. By the way, CPU has relatively little to do at all with rendering. I have a monster Xeon E5 with 8 cores that can run 16 threads, and when I have it turned on for rendering it barely makes the render process go any faster.

i will check it thanks for the information
and yes i know that GPUs are much faster with rendering than any CPU.

CPU rendered image right here in 1920x1080 :)

btw what assets forum?

This is the last one for now lets see what happends tomorrow ;)

While this is true for smaller scenes, it is actually not for the bigger ones. If you use many assets/objects with textures, etc in a scene, you will notice that using cpu + gpu is faster than only gpu
