I wouldn't expect anything any time soon. I've got enough girls to juggle already. The heart indicates a romance change, all of the girls (except meg) get +rom when you buy the shoes.

To elaborate...

Just for some perspective, the megcollege.rpy file alone is 514 lines. The major scene from 1.4, the anne event, was 200 lines. I'm actually considering adding a few more renders for one final patch which will may put the total over 100 renders. I'm quite certain that's more even than were in the original release. No previous content patch had more than 40-something.

I'm not sure what other games you're playing that add 100 renders, 2 animations, and however many thousands of words of dialogue in less than 3 weeks, but I'd like to check them out.

Check out @TK8000 The level may be a little lower, but the story and content size are very high.

Actually, you missed some. A major one, even. And this "long awaited" update was three weeks from the previous update, including multiple days I was out of commission for reasons I have went into on Patreon and elsewhere.

If you don't like the update, that's fair. But if your criticism is that the update doesn't contain enough content then, yes, you're better off skipping a few, because it's going to be hard for me to put any more time or effort in than I already do.

Hope you didnt take it personally since i am not a patreon so technically i have no right to grunge and/or judge. And i believe that most people here are not too..
The board serves as a game testing/brainstorming area/discussion area/ game exposure area that leads to virality ( which in real world means unpaid digital PR for the creators ). So its rather a Win-Win for all parties here.Thats why you are here also. And thats why most game developers are here too , instead of taking the forum down.

But , the general truth is , and i hope that you ll agree with me on that , that most patreon game development procedure is very very slow.Which leads to unsatisfied patreons and loss of profit for the creators.
I wont even discuss that the majority of VN/Renpy games creators are using/borrowing the same assets too ( probably the DAZ3d free ones or easy to download "free" too.. ) despite of all the $$$ they are earning. Personally, i am sick and tired of watching the same characters in different poses and the same indoor graphics ( bedroom-living room-toilet all the same in various games form different creators!!! ) . I am also frustrated when the so called "creators" are asking for money for it in order to get a better graphics card for example, as if they are rendering anything original for crying out loud!!

But you are not one of those and that is something you must be proud of.
You have a very good game here and hope you ll manage to finish it and make profit out of it. I am just impatient

Romance has to be triggered first before a +rom change does anything. Presumably you haven't triggered romance with those characters yet.

I was referring to the Daughter/principal's office scene which you did not mention. I'm glad you like the game. It takes a lot longer than you think to produce content, at least to a level I'm happy with. Hell, it takes a LOT longer than I thought it would when I started making the game, so that's understandable.

Based on that error I'm guessing you did something like d.changeRomance = 200 in the console rather than d.changeRomance(200). Now d.changeRomance is an integer instead of the function that it once was, so when the game tries to call it you get that error.

Well it means you're going to get that error every time a romance bump happens, and you'll never get "natural" romance points from the game. I'd rollback to before you made the mistake in the console if you can.

Otherwise, to insure that everything works properly, you'll have to change romance manually with each character. For example: d.romance = x and lookup[daughter_name + "_romance"] = x (where 'x' is the number you want to set it to, obviously) in order to insure that everything works smoothly.

You can rollback to last state or load last save, correct the command in the console, make a save. Then play on, should work.

I checked several pages, but can't see it mentioned. After movie/bathroom visit I no longer get ability to use pill on daughter. I played an earlier version that gave me a jump in points after that, but mine are in the toilet now. Started fresh in 1.51 and my save opened in 1.53.

Sounds like you dick-tapped your daughter in the shower (shame on you!) and are also running an older version. Downloading the new version should fix your problem once you go to sleep for the night (the variable is reset on the new day).

irredeemable whats your computer specs? i always see devs talking about render times/etc and ive played around with 3ds max so i get it, but do you have any plans up upgrading to like a Ryzen threadripper build? 16c/32t get like 64GB of ram and a couple of 1080Tis could help a shit load with the rendering and speed up development?

i see your patreaon is picking up, not sure if you work a day job or not but i would hope it would be on "the list" of things to look at if you ever have the ability to do so.
