Does anyone know where the save files are stored? I have an old version saved and it won't let me play as long as those files are there :s

I believe, the November 15th build fixed a lot of the bugs related to the dungeons. As for the goddes bug you can refuse her and continue though as per the changelog, that was fixed in newest build. Healing wroks, you equipment stays and I personally experienced maybe 2 crashes in about 10 hours of playtime. The saves being gone is annoying but given the changelog for Dec 21 build, I would personally be starting at the beginning since this ia possibly the only game I actually enjoy playing and not just for h-scenes. The feeling of rpg stryle progression is pretty gud and so is the turn based combat. Now the bugs can definitely get frustrating, don't get me wrong but I just seem to enjoy it too much to stay away for too long.

gave the game a try. started out great and honestly i love the way it looks and feels. but it does have some annoying bugs. characters not showing up when trying on clothes, facial hair etc. game closing randomly when talking to crew members. Id still suggest giving it a try if you havnt already but be prepared for issues.
The gameplay is well made and I would definitely play more, but if you don't sort out the crashing, it's not going anywhere. I've crashed probably 15 times and I've only been playing for 2 hours. I can tell you that setting my deck forces me to crash every single time when going for the map. It works fine from the ship.
It has never crashed on me setting the deck. And I've played the game for many hours.
Running in Windows 10 on an i5-8400 with a GTX 1070. I'm almost positive it's a problem with your system. Are you running the latest version of the Java runtime?

That's one of the reviews and this is why we can't have nice things.
The game is pretty simple and easy to figure out, it doesn't take any sort of advanced gaming knowledge but it does highlight that maybe some people should stay away from anything more complex than kinetic novels.

@katakari: Might be a problem with Java. Make sure you have the newest version of that.
@Awolfe: Are you playing from an old save?
Might need to delete save files, or at least start a new game. Tested without old save files and could play through all of the available content with no crashes. Of course it could always be a bug, either with the game or my modification, I just haven't encountered. The debug bat might be able to help in identifying the problem though.

Yes, it was an old save, and I provided the save file in my post. You should be able to replicate the problem from that. I ran it with the debug batch file and that did not help, as I don't see any sort of log or dump file. It crashes straight to the desktop. No error screens to capture, nothing. Click the Confirm button (see second image in my previous post) and boom, desktop. My system is an i5-8400, GTX 1070, 16GB RAM, Windows 10 (up to date on updates), JRE version 8 update 191.
I have zero intention of starting over. It takes way too much time and effort. If old saves are incompatible then I will quit playing this game.
