Seems there was a post asking for an update, but it got rejected. Did the answering person (@Cirelc ) know the dev needs to go around patreon and can't post there anymore about Waifu Academy? Or maybe it was because of the asking person because you can't get there such content anymore? (atleast not directly like normally).
Whether directly or indirectly, there is an update, just not available "on the surface", so we need to wait for a patron to be kind enough to post it here...
Edit: Just looked at patreon, it is somewhat funny/strange that he can't post game updates anymore, but the dev still posts information about it...

At the very least we know the reason, thanks to the dev himself whom immediately inform us here regarding the cause for the delay
Now all we need to do is to wait and find out whether the update is really worth the wait or not
Though, I'm already pretty excited by reading the changelog
Didn't expect there's already an update for Brooke
Only continuing to play the additional 3 in-game days contents won't be enough for me, so I guess I'm going to start over again

That ain't karma, though. That's more like dominance or something. Karma makes it sound more like a morality system of sorts rather than a dominance thing.
It's "karmic" in the sense that it will (eventually) sway which ending you get, according to the dev: that is, the karmic backlash comes at the end. As this has been generally accepted as a VN, the plot must go on, and thus, a proper foundation must be laid (hence why there would be no karma given for the drugging section of the story). As for why the -15 karma for the other situation, I think, for the sake of your sanity and sleeping well at night, it is best to just consider it as artistic license and leave it at that.
