Too many characters, 28 girls, 2 femboys 2 futas.
In VN mode, players were getting impatient waiting for content with their favorite characters. In sandbox mode, you can choose what to do first. I also removed grinding and made sure the story makes sense with careful use of flags. Additionally, there's a quest log that tells you where to go, so there's no need for random wandering.

Do we need to restart the game then for the mode switch?
Or does it the switch happen only for newer content?
The game switches from a VM to sandbox at the chapter 1, it will happen automatically.

oh jeez... ok there are way way too many placeholders.
placeholder options should be greyed out and not clickable.
I currently need to click through each one, be told it is a placeholder, and then continue to the next one. and then try to remember which were placeholders so i don't re-click them.

Thats a good idea really, i will do it next version.
Also you can follow the quest to know where you should go.
Go into the stats tab and check where you need to go.
