I have the last Larry Game that Al Lowe made, which is a reboot of the first Larry Game. Maybe I should share it.

Well look at that. A five star review for this garbage game from somebody with a LSL reference in their username. While I'm sure it would be instantly abused, I had this little fantasy of there being a 'Probably the Dev' tag for certain game reviews here.

Love For Sail was the absolute pinnacle and I've been disappointed by every offering since. This is no exception, sadly.

i agree and there was like only 4-5 nudes. This real missed the mark by not adding at least tits. But the creators like no nudity = more ppl some how.
The thing is the old LSL games were great despite not having sex/nudity (though there was usually a tiny bit in easter eggs). They were just genuinely fun games, especially Love For Sail, which was a fantastic point-n-click adventure with mini-games, a corny, but funny script and excellent (for the time) animations/graphics. I wish Al Lowe hadn't stopped...though I WAS happy they never went through with the 3D one they had planned...

Lol, well I'm kind of borderline X and Y (1981) but I consider "Millennials" to be a little younger than the standard. Like post 1990. My definition of them is basically any kid that was raised with a 'Smartphone' which really wasn't a -thing till like 2005 but now people can't imagine life without one.

I don't think he's short on cash, I saw a video where he was going through a few of the items and it honestly felt like he was just clearing space and figured to let the fans have a shot at it. He was very upbeat, laughing, and was in great spirits.
That's cool, I guess. It sucks that stuff like his won't ever make it into a museum or hall of fame (at least I've never seen it in any of those places that I've looked).

I happen to be of the exact correct age range to have been foiled by LSL1's age gate questions. It was too much hassle to go look up the answers in the encyclopedia--I think I just guessed.
Honestly, LSL6 was always my favorite. The grainy, sorta-digitized/sorta-cartoony look was for some reason appealing. (The flat-shaded cartoony thing from Love for Sail was okay, I guess.) That game was also educational! I didn't know what "high colonic" was supposed to mean, either.
Then there was that scene with the gym instructor. I learned that persistent sexual harassment sometimes pays off, but only if you're willing to be killed and reload your game afterwards. Life lessons.
I dunno. SQ6 was also my favorite of the series, so maybe I just have a thing for the number six. ("I am not a number!" Did anyone else ever notice the unusual parallels between the way The Prisoner and the Zero Escape series games started? It was probably just a meaningless coincidence, but I live for meaningless coincidences. If I put my off-topic digressions in small font, it discourages anyone from reading it and taking the thread off-topic. I'm a genius.)
