What makes me laugh is the elf maid can be skipped if it does tickle ya pickle then go on to say shes plays a part of the storyline with why waifu missing.... so its not really skipable?....

This taking a long time to do this with little to show I've seen other decent games on here (good story and animation) produce 2-3 times in the time they bring one out its batshit crazy

Btw the art 'preview' is the same image that was already used as a preview back in January.

Also fun fact, the current update was planned for December 2023. So the development was planned to take like 3 months and now they are at 6.

Which is actually right on time with their previous schedule. It's always been 1-2 updates per year. Not quite 2 because each update is followed with like 2-3 months of bug fixes and mini additions.

Which is why making the choice of making a second full screen scene with the elf is still so questionable to me. Especially when characters like Luna, a "main girl", still only have a single fullscreen scene lol.

The small paragraph explaining why the elf was chosen tells me that maybe even some of their patreons have criticized said choice. Yet somehow I don't think it will have any real impact on their earnings. I think most people don't really look at their actual release schedule too closely and just blindly believe whatever bullshit they spew in their 'updates'.

I can't wait for the 'schedule' of the 2024 roadmap. If that will even exist? At the current rate, the 2024 road map will be delayed to 2025 lol

Who the hell is still supporting them?

Someone should just remake this game & hire the same artist with stated goal to finish this in a year to prove it can be done. I bet it will draw 10 times the donations they have earned in this game's lifetime.
that's a question asked on many threads where dev is scammer.

can't do remake due copyrights (with money collected they can hire a lawyer anywhere) and artist moved to own project.

It's frightening how irresponsible people can be. There must be at least some responsibility to Patreon's subscribers...
As a developer, I understand that there can be different circumstances and that making games is actually quite difficult. But to delay the release for 6 months? Really?
well no, supporting dev at patreon/subs/kickstarter/etc doesn't mean that supporters get final product (it's not promised anywhere).

As far as I remember, there was a clear promise that the game would be updated in December. And it hasn't happened yet.
I haven't been following this developer for some time now, so I may be wrong, but it seems to me that this is the case now.

People should vote with their wallets. I wonder if at least 20-25% of their patreons unsubbed for like 2 months, the devs would surely have to react and speed up the release process and not offer the same game that is barely different from 12 months ago.

A couple of years ago, their subs brought in ~30k a month, so sadly, even 30% cut didnt change anything.

well at may 2023 their income was 27.5k bucks and now ~23k bucks per month so not a big drop for them (still bigger than many devs earn in few months).

[abandoned] tag when?
3 months radiosilence (no posts to patreon) so never and 18 months w/o game update which is possible but unlikely.

Well... that's interesting. Waiting for sub $20K per month, maybe then they'll wake up and do something.

Please. It's not frightening at all, if you were able to swipe a preexisting intellectual property, with a fantastic art style to back it up, and you were able to cultivate a loyal patreon following you'd delay, delay, delay too. You can say you wouldn't all you want but when the gravy train keeps chugging along no matter how much or how little work you do in a given month then you would fall to the temptation of paid indolence too. We all would.

The point they are making is that the subscribers should know better than to spend their money on hot garbage because it's an incentive for devs to be lazy.
well cc-bill doesn't tell how much threw money to dev a, b, c, ............

Yes, and it's still not frightening because it's a regular occurrence no matter what. Every project that goes more than a year or two, with very few exceptions, becomes less and less frequently updated and to a lower quality. Why? Because a few hundred or thousand devoted people who chip in a day of lunch money every month adds up to easy passive income that's probably not going to go away because it's not enough for people to notice. We'd all do it, it's nothing even remotely sad, scary, or unnerving.

When you wonder why mankind is not evolving, think of the number of mindless idiots who support this crap.
mankind has been degrading since shortly after we were made, and has only just reached the level to support this, so take solace in that at least.

Jasmine trainer seems like so long ago. Akabur was also a crap dev in many ways but his shit was hot and got done mostly. This game had super hot art as well but also all of the worst of feature creep, bloat and bad story. I've said it before but this porn game feels sexless because despite their being lewd scenes they're so incredibly diluted amongst all the other dogshit you have to wade through. If you're going story heavy with your porn games your sole purpose is to build towards and create anticipation of the sex scenes and this is just entirely lacking in any of that.
