Well, I would like Judith, Eve and Consuela to have more scenes, I know that Consuela and Eve have some scenes and Judith not, but it's more a matter of personal taste.
I don't know if you're telling me to start my own project and extract money from people so I can feel firsthand what DC goes through, but I don't think I have to prove anything, he has to do his job and deliver the updates, although ironically I had start my own project on renpy, with the programming and some artwork ready, but I gave up, I'm really too lazy for that and I don't think it's worth trying to take money from others with something that clearly isn't it's going nowhere, and before anyone says anything, no, this isn't a barb for DC it's just my own experience.

If you compare DC's work ethic to any other adult game developer, can you see the difference? If you can, you already have the value difference. It doesn't matter if it's an objective value or not.

I never said you couldn't criticize DC. I'm saying the pages and pages of whining, retreading the same ground for MONTHS is annoying to get updates about when I come here to check on other stuff. I'm not going to sit and argue again, I've heard all the same arguments here forever.

You know how that gets defeated? DC actually does something worth all this time. It's been three years since the tech update started, at this point it really sounds like a lot of the defenders are just trying to justify throwing their money into a bottomless pit for no material return. For fuck's sake, DC removed the progress bar from the patreon for anyone to see; what else could that look like?

Personally, I have never supported THIS game, but others and I wouldn't like to read
someone calling me "paypig" just because I made the decision to support a developer or their game.
Ultimately, it is a personal decision whether and how someone spends their money.

And to call the update "vaporware" is not entirely correct in my opinion,
that would be it if there were only promises without proof of progress,
but DC releases new images, even streams him painting them.
There are also progress indicators on the website.

My 3 cents:
I was finishing high school when developement on this game started in 2016 and it's been now 8 years (just last 3 years are spent on single upcoming patch). This patch is never coming out. Even if it comes out, it will be super underwhelming. This game is in development hell. I don't assume that they don't work on it, they probably do, but if you are putting effort into smth and nothing came out of it, did you really actually do anything?

I'm programmer myself and work for major fintech company and there is this crap called deadlines which this game doesn't have. That's what allowed it to be in development hell - nothing gets released, but money is pouring in. If you want it to ever be released just stop paying for it. The panic it will cause will suddenly make update possible.

Ofcourse it won't happen as well, because their revenue source is splint in 30000 ways and there is no way to make sure all of those people stop paying, so just move on, stop wasting your time and money and enjoy some other games.

Exactly, that's my point, in the meantime that the game began to be produced until present moment, a lot has happened for little real development, when I say that DC is incompetent it is not with the intention of offending him or his fanboys in this thread, but to highlight the obvious, 8 years, and the person cannot have a consistent work and distribution rhythm, and even after this tech update comes out, it will take even longer for any truly usable content to come out, since even From what I read, the tech update will not bring any new scenes, just changes to the game and the map.

Incredibly, there are still people here to say that whoever is giving money, it's not for the game itself, it's for the "benefits", a server on discord, some wallpapers (which everyone will have access to) playing in advance (since updates take time , so I can't even call it a benefit) and any other crap that I'm honestly too lazy to look for and read.

There's nothing left to say in this thread because there hasn't been any new content in over a year, literally you'll just read the same things:

Programmer as well, to be honest many of these kinds of projects suffer from this. There's no "design spec with a finished product" people can see outside the authors head. Each additional thing they add creates the need for exponentially increasing project size down the road. Because they're only beholden to people paying on their platform of choice, 200 people giving 20 dollars today is worth appeasing for the money in exchange for all the non-paying people that can see the project won't go anywhere or who can't afford to add their side quest of choice to the system. Because there's no design spec to stick to, and there's a reason to not stick to it (funding) there's very little reason not to just bloat the fuck out of it and end up with a project that has 10 million promises and very few completions.

This is exactly the same problem chris roberts has with star citizen too, so it's not restricted to porn games by any means.

That's because their opinions are usually backed up with facts and evidence. Also, I've never seen any of those guys attack or insult anyone. They just inform people that they're wrong and point out why. In fact, your post calling them out is more aggressive than anything I've seen them post.

Even after this tech update, there's nothing really great to look forward to. 99% of the time for the sex scenes, we get solo scenes, and the very few group scenes that may occur will only occur because DC suddenly remembers their existence, while at the same time, 100% of the scenes that should have been in the game will remain forgotten.

All these harem games, including this one, feature only one to six group scenes (more if we're lucky; it's usually threesomes or only threesomes), or worse, none at all, due to a severe lack of common sense. It is frustrating.

What I said also applies to non-sexual scenes.
