In Castle Des, how to proceed with finding Magician Sloss? I talked to everyone with Leila and completed her part, but with Nene there is no NPC to talk to forward the quest line after talking to every NPC.

For the recollection/memory room, do the scene get opened after completing the game or do you have to go through all the scenes while playing the game?

It's alright, game has some bugs, that may crash you game, specially in long fight vs enemies, so i recommend u edit your save with save editor, and add 9999 dmg, so you will kill everyone with one shot, and won't get a crash.

yes, there is no way to remove that rock, at this point you should have 80% of gallery room unlocked, just go there and unlock remaining scenes with buttons on the walls.

A walkthrough would be great. I am searching all over for the Archaeologist in Rox City. Nene was told he was protesting the arena, but I can't find him anywhere.
Finding Rast was difficult too. I had to start a new game to find the old man hidden on a bench.

Did you check the arena? He's right at the front desk if I recall, you have to experience both sides' investigation events first I think. If you haven't done that he might not appear. That's how it is for every investigation

Thanks. As far as I know I have spoken to everyone with both characters. Nene is dancingat the theater and Leila been drunk in the tavern, but the only people I see in the arena are a fighter who says bet on me and a guy with X-ray vision who looks at boobs. The guy at the counter just says to come back. I'm not ready to both characters.
OK UPDATE. I decided to back track and found someone tucked in a corner I hadn't talked to yet. I am back on track. Thanks for the help.

You have to activate the crystals in the orders indicated on the floor in your picture. Or if not in order just have those 3 on before you step on the button above them (also included in your picture).
Turn on the left/right 3, step on the button, turn them off, then turn on the other side's 3 and step on the button.
The colors from the circles on the floor match the crystals on the left and right sides of the room.
