anyone else have an issue with downloading the patch? it just opens a text file in another window instead of actually downloading anything

The money is not earned, it is distributed in certain places on the map, you just have to find it

Oh shit ! So I have to grab it until I reach 4999 dollars ? Do know you how to cheat on this game ?
There is no update this month, the next will be in the first week of July and is the 'Dethroning the Queen' quest.
Dethroning the Queen being the direct inverse version of "steeping on the rose", we can at least hope for one entire new quest (for the fishing line) and a big scene for punishing Kate or something like that.
Maybe the start for some other new plot lines, to. Big hope on this update.

Weird issue, but how do you delete save files? I've tried deleting them from the \saves folder, but they're still there when I run the game. I've even deleted the whole game and re-installed it, but they're still there. Is there another file location somewhere that carries over persistent save files?
Edit: Never mind, found it. It was under \AppData\Roaming\RenPy
