Check out the "frozen screen" bug, if you can fix it. It's a problem of the engine, probably not due to your game, but it's still so annoying to have to save the game while the game screen is frozen.

Just finished playing the latest update, and so far I really love it. It is rare to find a game that nails what I like about corruption.

Of the three girls, I am loving Misaki's corrupted personality, and I am really interested in seeing what kind of personalities the Yukako and Rina get once they reach level 4.

Grammar errors and typos are one of the more easily missed errors in development. I don't think I will be able to have someone dedicated to reviewing and reporting things like that for a while. I have gotten more consistent reports on grammar errors in the discord for the game as time goes on, so it this will likely be something that gets fixed over time.

Check out the "frozen screen" bug, if you can fix it. It's a problem of the engine, probably not due to your game, but it's still so annoying to have to save the game while the game screen is frozen.

Good to hear. Honestly, considering that as far as I'm aware you're just starting out so higher someone to review grammar isn't viable. You're also right about grammar being easy to miss. Hell, even academic books have spelling or improper grammar and the grammar isn't bad enough to take away from the game.

I binged the latest update in about 2 hours and I find myself liking this~ I will share my thoughts in points.

- Misaki’s corruption is quite good. There are ways it could be even better given the limitation of your resources: between each stage of Misaki’s corruption you could use a cutscene between her and the other members of the Hero party highlighting Misaki’s slow but sure changes. Corruption really is about twisting that knife in when we can and all the subtleties.

- The generic monsters aside, I think it would be nice if the succubi get generic models, for flavours. It would also make Romanos’s Willpower event come across as more real than just texts if 2 succubi women are sneering and domineering on screen.

- Yukako’s 1st stage is off to a great start, and I am sure you already have a plan. With that in mind, it won’t be a bad idea to make a room with Divine church like aesthetic for her later: there is something inherently pleasing about fucking a devout follower of a faith in a room modeled after said religion’s aesthetics.

That’s all for critique thoughts. In exchange for your good work, from this point onwards, I will offer ideas.

- If you are worried about the MC being not evil enough, you can begin constructing that by properly defining the lifestyle of each major culture here.

What values do the Divines teach humans and Elves? In games like this they are typically pseudo-religious people who are prude and rigid, frowning on practices like prostitution or anything like that.

What of the demons and their Lord? Usually in corruption games they are the ones doing the corruption but in your game that is not the case. Since they oppose the Divines and the Dark Lord alike, they might be barbaric and have a might makes right philosophy, seeing no value in things which make you “weak”.

What of the Dark Lord himself? I will propose hedonism instead. The Dark Lord’s corruption promotes doing whatever brings you the most pleasure, especially if it is kinky and frowned upon by the Divines, and thus amoral by default. The MC having this mindset deep down, disliking the rigid and prudish culture of his old kingdom might even be why the Dark Lord’s seed of power responds to him.

- Corruption doesn’t end when your victim becomes completely yours like Misaki. When the Dark Lord and his forces are in a much better position military-wise, I propose a certain type of scenario for each completely corrupted girl.

Experiment. The MC is a freshly born Dark Lord — it would be both pragmatic and pleasurable to explore the limits of this corruptive force, and its applications.

As an example, let’s take Misaki. As noted in talks with her, she is literally incapable of thinking about abandoning or betraying her master anymore. This is inherently woven into her being, and can’t be broken. But it would be interesting to explore what would happen to her mind if this is tested; such as what if the Dark Lord goes missing or presumed dead.

This isn’t sadism for its own sake; the previous Dark Lord was slain by just 1 team of Heroes blessed by Divines and had to create a hasty and risky backup plan to ensure another Dark Lord will rise. MC will not make the same mistake: he will try to come up with contingencies, more than the previous.

The first idea which likely comes to the MC’s mind would be whether or not it is possible to use the Dark Lord’s corruption force to survive past physical death, and be reborn. The previous Dark Lord only left behind a seed of power: as his successor you are expected to surpass him with a seed of corruption.

You probably can imagine what kind of scenario I am talking. Experiment with creating various things which can serve as the MC’s next vessel (I propose a seed within an apple-like magic fruit for maximum rule of symbolism) -> the MC transfers his soul into it -> hide his original body so no one except maybe trusted subordinates like Terindius knows where it is -> have Misaki find and eat the apple so the MC and the player gets to watch and play from Misaki’s POV for once -> we get to watch how Misaki deals with the Dark Lord going missing (it’s a rarely explored avenue in corruption)

Since Misaki is the first slave we have, unfortunately it means this experiment will likely not bear fruit yet. The seed can feed on Misaki’s sexual energy but it is not efficient enough to allow rebirth. So the MC will end the current batch of “reincarnation seed” and make his presence inside Misaki known to guide her back to his original body, which will end with Misaki and MC having one hell of a session to make up for putting Misaki through existential crisis.

Although, this kind of scenario is probably difficult to make so early in the game and before Yukako and the others got corrupted.

For now, these would be my offerings. Feel free to ignore it — I share these because I want to and because I am thankful. Keep up the good work, I am not the only one watching you.

This is good; making your victim they are doing things out of their own volition when they are playing right into your hands is how a good corruptor works.

- The lore behind Zerethion Wall is a really nice addition to the world building. It puts things into perspective: the limitations of the Divines, why were the previous Dark Lord losing in the war and how did Romanos's party get here (it makes you the late Hero King quite respectable, props for that), as well as setting up 2 more future contents at once: the Hero's tomb as well as trading with the Demon Queen.

- Since both Yukako and Rina's events would involve them being involved with a town and a city, I think you can consider adding "minor corruption victims" to further their corruption events along, if you can afford to add more character models.

For example, if there is another priestess in Holmdow (fairly likely since it is normal for there to be healers in a settlement), then Yukako can interact with her to regain some assurance for herself. When the MC makes a simple mention of said priestess, Yukako can be made more compliant with the MC's orders in the hopes of protecting a fellow priestess from the MC; only to be revealed at a later corruption stage that the MC already has said priestess enthralled, meaning Yukako's efforts are for nothing. This priestess, of course, doesn't need to be completely corrupted or be more than a side character; why should the Dark Lord himself claim those unworthy of permanent fall?

A similar example can be made for Rina. At a later corruption stage, the MC can ask Rina to pick a woman in the city to be offered to the Dark Lord and be corrupted. This can be helpful for several reasons -- not only Rina will be greatly troubled, somewhere in the back of her mind might whisper: "Why seek another woman when he already has me- wait, what am I thinking?!", and that will further push Rina's mind down toward obeying the order, and further into corruption.

- In addition to my previous idea about experimenting with the Dark Lord's powers further and testing Misaki's mental limits (as I said, Corruption doesn’t end when your victim becomes completely yours), I have an idea for a "mid season upgrade".

Romanos is the Hero blessed by Divines, isn't he? I believe his equipment are all blessed. I think it will be very nice if you, the new Dark Lord, wields a corrupted version of the current Hero's Divine-blessed sword instead of the Dark Lord's sword. This calls for a different kind of corruption: tainting a holy weapon.

This can benefit the MC in many ways. First, we get a stronger weapon. Second, this will be the MC's first experience interacting with Divine power, giving him more experience when he deals with the actual Divines themselves later. Third, we can give Misaki our current sword, which not only will please her, but also a powerful psychological and symbolic move both to your army and enemies; that you don't need your predecessor's sword as a crutch, and the current Hero has fallen to you. Fourth, Misaki doesn't use a shield, so she can afford to wield 2 swords, and a dual wielding succubus queen is both cool as fuck and sexy.

Fifth, and probably most plot relevant, is that it can serve as a good quest to gain trading with the Demon Queen. She might want you to prove yourself worthy of the mettle of Dark Lord and worth making deals with, and what better way to do that than to show something no previous Dark Lord has ever done; corrupt a Divine-blessed holy sword, and pervert it to your will?

This can even be done more than once. If we will visit the late Hero King's tomb in the future, we can plunder his grave and take his holy sword and repeat the process just to inflict more psychological damage to his descendants, haha.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions. A lot of what you suggested sounds like it would be interesting. I've thought a little about minor characters, but I doubt I would be able to do something like that for now, at least. It might be something I look more in to at a later date. For experimenting with the Dark Lord's power, and corrupting holy equipment, that will be something explored later on in the story.

In Vlester's commercial district, the building with the green roof is the bank. The gold is in the orc fortress.
