I get that "life gets in the way", but it's funny how often with Patreon creators life gets in the way constantly, again and again whenever they give a deadline

In the end I'm sure it won't matter, this forum is full of people who will suck Nergal's dick even if he said release is delayed until 2022.
Seriously, this got from disappointing to just pathetic. I can't even be excited for Solarion anymore - I'm done with Nergal - since delays appear to be the standard of his content delivery now I'm just going to add him to the rest of the devs to check out once every half year. See ya.

I was going to say he didn't bother updating Trello, but I know better. Any official word yet?

This is just a short message to let you know that the build won't be released today. But sometime in the future.
A follow up post will come tomorrow to better explain the situation.
Until then I can only give my apologies for letting you down again, and I hope the post tomorrow will clear things up a bit.

Okay I just got into this game so I'm late...
I downloaded the latest version on this site but there are characters like Kaylee and the nurse who say they arent available in this build
I keep seeing guides and stuff talking about their content in the game though. Is the one on this site not the most up to date build, am I just not realizing something major?

Huh boy...probably should have dropped that bomb far sooner if he was aware he wont make it in time(and in fact is so far off that he cant give a new estimate).
Whelp waiting for that post then.
Considering it takes a whole day that must be one hefty update post though.

Oh. I was really looking forward to the update today too. Ah well. Quality over quantity and all that. Was really looking forward to the mechanic chick being added. She and the teacher are my favorite.
Alright. Now this is getting weird. Apparently...there's a whole story with some kind of "otherworld" and you have to unlock the powers? In the version downloadable from this site, like you get the powers for free at the beginning and there is no "otherworld" apparently there's an entire story here...

The Otherworld section will most likely be back for the full release, since its tied into the character Neala's storyline, until then I guessing the upcoming releases won't have it.

Long story short: In version 0.8.2 and previous, there was an area called the Otherworld, where Peter (MC) would meet Neala (red head with freckles). The two of them would be... "Friends" (allied is more accurate) and try to solve the Otherworld together.
Nergal disappeared and decided to remake the game from scratch (in terms of story) when he returned, but for the time being, the Otherworld is removed (it will be re-added at some point in the future, likely version 1.0).
If you download an older version, you can access the Otherworld and interact with all characters missing (Donna, Neala and Kaylee).
and thus the mystery is solved! I was confused as FUCK. Some twilight zone level shit...

The fact that Nergal made a post about how he'll explain the delay later implies to me that whatever the cause of this delay is, it happened very last minute and it had to take priority over working on the build. Something personal happening (family member needs him, sudden need to work overtime on his real job, etc.) is my guess.
Who could have expected different thing? I mean he's like never released versions in time. Wonders how people still can defend him.
