monitor resolution error on random games

Switching to resolution 960x540 failed, trying lower one
All resolution switches have failed
Screen: DX11 could not switch resolution (960x540 fs=0 hz=0)

Every now and then I get this error with one or these great games. Is there a gneral fix or is it a problem with the game, the majority work including other games from the particular engine or creator.

You could try going into one the games threads and searching for resolution, see if anyone had the same problem. But it sounds like something might need updating, drivers etc. Especially if these games are newer than the ones that do work.

For someone to help more you may need to give some basic details about you computer, and name some games.
