Oh dude, I am sorry. I should realize being into hentai does not necessarily make you care about anime tropes, which were what I was referring to.

I don't know if it is because of lazy writing, or if the character types are so broad they will fit on anything.

In visual novels the tsundere character is usually the main love interest, because there is obvious story in trying to win her over and open up to the main character. In pornography it is common to have the other types more predominantly displayed, since they might faster be open to sexual relationships.

Hopefully it is not possible to fit every character of every game on there, but if you are looking for more of a certain type of character, it can help knowing what terms to look for when searching, and lets face it, most erotic games are probably Japanese.

Its mostly just cuz of how broad the characters are. You can take any personality chart and do the same thing.
Just look at the amount of pictures floating around the internet of people taking tv characters and putting them somewhere on the DND personality alignment chart. (I.E Lawful good neutral good chatoic good etc)

On a different note Im actually kind of interested in this thread myself. Out of all the characters currently on Teachers pets Meghan is by far my fav. I find myself spending for more time with her than anyone else.

The alignment charts are a lot more subjective though, because a lot of the stories they are forced upon don't really necessarily feature evil characters and people were just trying to make them fit.

The anime girl archtypes are established tropes of the medium. Every single Japanese visual novel or anime will feature the popular ones on the list. In fourth wall breaking anime, authors or characters themselves will even refer to the tropes.

My hypothesis was that western erotic games are inspired by the Japanese ones, thus making the plots likely to feature the same sort of characters.
