So how does the milkshake thing at the friday parties work? I've been to like three and nothing has fired. Is this just a deadend for now?

Need patience, depending also if you play as girl or boy..
Going there in time, atleast till you don't solve the Mistery helps a bit, i guess cause you also get chances for more Party popularity..
Okay but like... what am I looking for, and what should I do to make sure I hit the triggers?
Not sure baseball, basketball, lacrosse, soccer or hockey or any team sport would be much different than football.
Wrestling has natural chances for groping/exposing etc. and is a one on one thing even if it's a college team overall.
Volleyball has a chance to be interesting as well, especially if it's at the lake/beach in bikinis instead of indoor. Plus having to find a partner for 2 v 2 matches.

You will notice a different text during the Party suggesting you could investigate about it..
Go then inside where the toilets and snacks are located and eventually you will get the suggestions about some noises coming from a room.. Take a look!

Quick question. Had a male character join the football team and never played in any of the games. In the end, I got so annoyed, I ended up quitting and waited to join the swim team. But out of curiosity, how does one actually end up playing on the football team?

The funnier part about Football is the use of the Cheerleaders i guess..
The Captain will keep you benched for some matches if you don't agree to be used in the showers, but if you doing good in training the Coach will start sending you to play..
Yes i also enjoy more swimming, but giving a chance in some run to others as well..
Just a small suggestion, when you hangout/date and opt to just chill, when the characters go to spoon, it should give you the option to be the big spoon or little spoon, or base it off whether a character has higher submissiveness or higher dominance stat.

The eSports Club is actually great in giving you a bunch of choices that will affect your odds of winning (use your Ult or keep it in reserve, play aggressively or defensively etc.), in much the same way the Arcade side matches work. On my second run i went into the Football team and all i did was next, next, next.
Amusingly, i had zero Video Game skill when i applied for the eSports Team. No hookups with cheerleaders, but a win felt like way more of a win because i could participate in it.
Lastly, when i started my second playthrough my BFF had the same name as my first character, RNG did a funny i guess
Edit: Oh, speaking of sex scenes, i got a BJ from a third round penalty, and no matter what i did i could not turn it into anything other than a BJ. Kind of weird that my opponent was still considered to be sucking MC's dick despite being stripped naked, having changed positions to Missionary and kissing MC, the option to turn it into anything other than the intended sex simply didn't appear. Same when MC did cunnylingus to get out of paying toll on campus (event where a bully blocks the way and wants you to pay to get past them), you just can't escalate no matter what you try to do.
I don't much care for turning campus into RapeTown, but that felt kind of weird.

Okay, but as I brought up earlier can you currently get an almost mostly female football team? I mentioned earlier I tried to do that via the gender sliders and that gave a full male football team, unlike what was suggested in the traditional team gender tooltip. Or is the only way to get non-male players on the football team is to uncheck the traditional team gender checkbox?
I think so, I tried to join the cheerleader team with a world full of men/transmen/enbies, and the team still had females on them.
Probably because I didn't checked the option "traditional teams" during world building
It looks like if "traditional team genders" is unchecked, the football team will be ~50% femme players. If it is checked, you get an all masc team. Other worldgen parameters don't affect makeup.

Yeah, I put the sliders at zero for all others and maxed out female only. In other words, coming from, say, DoL, you have complete control over gender pretty much. And this game doesn't, which is fine: My expectation going in was that basically it'd be 90% female and 10% male or something, and then more than half of the football team would therefore be female or whatever (and that cheerleaders would be mostly female anyway, because of traditional gender teams still being checked and population)
What I'm saying is that the tooltip/help as written is misleading, since what it seems like (though obviously I haven't done a lot of testing) that while you can leave "Traditional sports team genders" checked and mess with the sliders to make them lopsided, it will still result in a complete or almost complete male football team (or almost complete female cheerleader team from what Sant said).
I don't do porn discords but if someone could pass that on to the author that'd be great, since a tooltip re-writing is an easy fix, especially since it's concerning a setting that affects world generation.

If you're playing as female you'll get offered one by your third or fourth party, if you're playing as male you need to max out your party popularity which is mostly done by passing dance checks during random events at the party.
