Ok, I can definitely understand that being frowned upon, but didn't know it was actually illegal. Just been desensitized to copycats and derivative works, I guess.

To be fair, in the countries where it apply, it's relatively recent laws, around 30 years old at max, and it's probably more often used to afraid the concurrence than to effectively start a lawsuit.

at least i tried, and i didn't ignore the original dev, i will wait maybe for another week before i start planning what i'm going to do about this project.
i hate giving false hopes specially now that a lot of peoples voted.
i could even start a new game with the same events but with some changes in the story and the characters.
to be honest, the copyrights side is troubling me a bit. (no one like to get something suspended after a lot of hard work).

' decided suddenly to stop the development of the game without any more news , i don't know what really happened back then but it seems to be something related to his mother.
2 years has past with no news from the creator. its really disappointing that a game with so much potential get abandoned just like that.

I suspended one of my projects "Aideth" until the full release of ue5, so i said why not to finish this amazing game.
so yes, i will start working on My Sweet Neighbors to get a proper end of the story, and to avoid ruining it i will let the community decide how it should continue .
i will not ruin it with such ntr,cuckold,sharing,swinging or other dark fetishes and will respect the original game.

it seems i was wrong, if i let the community decide the game could go full NTR, that's why i will still chose some of them and make a poll but i'm going to edit the idea and make it fit the story and the romantique atmosphere the creator tried to create.

The first 3 polls are going to be here on F95Zone.

right now, for the story, you have the complete freedom to write how it should continue, that will help me a lot to get a vision of what will happen next.
i will chose 3 of them and make a poll.

i'm going to replay the game because i don't really remember what happened at the end (maybe the mom getting suspicious about the relation between the daughter and the boyfriend at the bar) also i will need to put points on the story line.

also before you leave, if you can give a little push up helping me to find all the assets used in this game, i'm really bad at finding things.

you don't know where to search, F95Zone has already a lot of assets maybe you can find some of them here, any help is very appreciated !

Just my two cents, and I’ll make sure to vote in any polls, the game is at least 50% done and I think one of the issues is that everyone has a saved game and I bet most players are in a relationship with both the mother and daughter. Up until this point there hasn’t even been a whiff of any potential rivals for the MC. I understand that it may be exciting to add some different stuff but adding NTR even if it’s avoidable would be kinda jarring and completely change the tone of the game. I think the best way to complete the game would be to go with what there already and what has been foreshadowed and that’s probably some threesome/harem routes maybe pregnancy at the end. Anyway good luck with this I really enjoyed this game and hope to get to play it some more

I think even if you do not get the exact assets of the characters, you could do something like maybe use some models which look very similar to the original characters, start from where the original game ended abruptly (albeit give some kind of recap of the story as per player decision and point collected) and name it as something like My Sweet Neighbor fanmade sequel or something. That way you will be able to work on the project as well as avoid much of the copyright issues.

WOW, when (if) this game gets finished, I will have the happiest fap of my life.

What else I think about it?
Genre change would be stupid, of coarse, so adding a rival or turning it into a psycho thriller at the end (looking at you, PinkCake) would make no sense. No subverting expectations! See how passionate fans of TLOU1 feel about TLOU2 or original SW fans about TLJ.
Anyway, for me... I would like to see an option to choose between M, D, or both... maybe even get other girls into the group, BUT that maybe wouldn't be the best, because it might complicate things and ruin the suspention of disbelief. But if done right, it would be amazing.
Of coarse a pregnancy ending would be great. Optional, because not everybody wants to end up with kids. I myself would like that ending, though. The more girls my character can impregnate, the better.

Finding the assets for this game is hard. I myself tried, but failed. So I can just offer emotional support. (at least for now)

I wouldn't wait on Pandelo to say anything, because he 99.9% won't answer.

Or go the route of the latest Big Brother clone. Recreate the game, renders and all, make a few tweaks to the story if need be, and continue on past where the original stopped. That leaves no basis for any fallout, etc. as it is then purely in the realm of a fan-made/clone. Thus you get to finish the story (as many people would like) while getting to work on the new project you were looking forward to doing, while not having to worry about the original author popping back up down the road and there being issues.
