Because, Anna is the kind of person who is good at sneaking romantic correspondence with David's friend. She doesn't tell David about it because she sees Chris as a dildo that's always at hand.

Anna is a devil who, instead of talking to her husband, gets the witch Kendra to approve of her infidelities.

The devil always looks innocent to people because human beings love lies. First she builds an unreal order for himself, then she believes in it and deceives even the people closest to her for the sake of what he believes in.

That is why Anna may be a good person, but she can never be innocent and beautiful in spirit.

Because Anna is a nice person

Ann keeps Chris close to her because he is her confidant of her secrets, he has never betrayed her and is loyal to her, and she loves his compliments.I only know of one case where He let Anna down. Chris once pissed off Anna when she was fed up with his horsey advances and was tired of Chris's cheap tricks, and his incompetence decided that she was setting him up with her friend, whom he later cheated on, and Anna was furious with Chris. And she might never talk to him again. But David needed Chris as best man at his wedding, so she had to put up with him. The dialogue in which Anna talks to Kendra during a break at work is also interesting. Anna tells Kendra about Chris for the first time. And Kendra immediately asks if she would fuck him, to which Anna replies, “It would be too predictable, and since she had the opportunity to do it before, she didn't do it.
Something she doesn't get from her busy husband. Anna knows Chris' nature and believes she can control him, and if he goes too far, he will be slapped in the paws. She even says: If they paid her a dollar a day for every time Chris hit on her, she'd be a millionaire and could quit her job. Anna is naive to think that Chris will act as a link between her and David and mediate the conversation. And this will prove that David didn't cheat on her. And it was a contrived plot. David knows that Anna texts Chris, but he doesn't know how often or what the conversations are about. Additionally, Anna deletes all messages from Chris after each conversation. And you're wrong, buddy, it's not Anna who justifies her betrayals, but Kendra who brainwashes her and programs her to certain behaviors and words, e.g. when she says that an old fish is a harmless lonely old man. and Kendra makes her do naughty things.

I'm saying the same thing, man.

Anna holds Chris as a dildo that is always at hand and nothing more. Anna is a narcissist because she never, ever tells David about her infidelity with Chris on the phone.

It's not because she wants David and Chris to fall out! If David cheats on her, she will prove her quality to her husband by having sex with Chris, who is open to any kind of relationship, and she will punish David by showing that she manipulates everyone around her as she wants.

She's an extremely smart woman and the perfect avenger, scary dangerous, I wouldn't want to have a wife like Anna, but it's fun to play with her in the game and think about all the cocks she's going to take.

Anna holds Chris as a dildo that is always at hand and nothing more. Anna is a narcissist because she never, ever tells David about her infidelity with Chris on the phone. I think the developer, Mr. Palmer, has Anna as a more complicated character then having simple motivations as narcissism. To be sure there is some narcissism to Anna's character, but you have to take all of Anna's character and history to get a better measure of her. Coming from an over domineering father, Anna could never fully meet his expectations. Thus Anna ought to have a lot of insecurities. Chris gives Anna self-validation that she is desirable. Anna knows she is attractive, but likely doesn't feel that she is attractive--a paradox. Her having a baby likely gives Anna some doubt as to her attractiveness. Now the Mr. Palmer has clued us in that Anna has repressed desires (perhaps shadows from her past not being able to fully explore them from her up bringing.) Chris gives Anna a chance to let out some of that repressed desires in that she is beginning to enjoy her exhibition pictures and more validation of her looks.

It's not because she wants David and Chris to fall out! If David cheats on her, she will prove her quality to her husband by having sex with Chris, who is open to any kind of relationship, and she will punish David by showing that she manipulates everyone around her as she wants. It seems Anna chose David as her husband because he was 'safe.' Safe meaning David was not like her father--not domineering or demanding as well as being critical of Anna. Funny thing is, Anna is more use to being dominated and having demands put upon her--it was how she was brought up. In the David/Anna relationship it's fair to say both are equal to each other in who rules at home--but Anna can and has put David in his place--remember David is star struck having a wife like Anna--think trophy wife.

She's an extremely smart woman and the perfect avenger, scary dangerous, I wouldn't want to have a wife like Anna, but it's fun to play with her in the game and think about all the cocks she's going to take. Anna isn't a complete person with a lot of unresolved issues. Anna wants a large family and David was supposed to be the father... plus Anna has a lot of pent-up desires which normally would help with the making of a large family Anna desire. Now you have a frustrated Anna sexually, emotionally (needing to be seen as being beautiful) and unfulfilled with a lot a doubt about David. Anna is thinking steps ahead that divorce is on the table and thinking strategically about divorce. I don't think Anna is at this point thinking about other lovers to scratch her "itches" yet. And it's likely those would-be scratches will come to Anna without her having to do anything, just accept or reject the scratcher.
